Long-time lurker, first time poster. I found a nice old 20x24 picture frame that I am looking to use as the front of a mirror but then I looked at the price of the glass. It gets mighty expensive when you get up to that large of a size.

As a possible alternative, I started looking around Amazon. I came across this “Vilros” product for US$150 that has the frame, glass/mirror and monitor. Has anyone heard of them or have any experience with them?

The quality is very bad. I threw away the film and bought the two-way mirror.

I’ve been looking into getting that MM kit from Amazon, but I’m hesitant. What did you guys think of it? Thanks!

There are instructions all over YouTube on how to do this without ripples. You may wish to search for videos on applying car window tint, as it is the same process.

@<bdi>cynod</bdi> - I’ve never used them. It seems like a pretty decent kit for the price.
