      Hey Guys

      So i started this project off with making a MagicMirror with an old 22" monitor I bought online for cheap. Well this would have been my second MM project and I realized halfway through that I decided to go with the Smart Display instead.

      This MagicMirror / Smart Display is powered by a Pi3B+ with a fan on it to keep it at a nice steady temp of 48.3. Before I added the fan I was hitting temps of up to 72-73 degs. With all the modules I have on it the fan was required to keep it running smooth. Anyway I am still working on the frame for this but the software seems to be just as I like it. Hope you guys like it:

                @jste84 The module is called MMM-NewsFeedTicker. You need to download the logo of whatever news site you want and find the rss feed link. It comes with some logos but I had to get a few. Then you just add the module and it will cycle through all articles on a given site then swith to the next site. Its actually perfect as I wanted news updates similar to what you see on CNN so it doesnt take up too much screen real estate.

                      @Bolovai I’ve got the module working. I’m really new to this… When I’m reading the wiki. I look at the config and config sample… But I can’t see anything about the logo…

                      I’m using pages and interested in settingnup two different news feeds one for the BBC and one for sky sports and the way you have it configured is exactly how I’d like it to look.

                      Would love any help you can give

                        @jste84 Sure NP.

                        In the Readme in the “Other Info” section you should see this part describing this:

                        can add as many feeds as you like.
                        to change or add feedsources… you need to make sure the site can be linked

                        *** At this point, you need to download the website logo and place it in the pics folder within the
                        MMM-NewsFeedTicker directory. Then put the name of it in the config for ‘customLogo’
                        (see config example above)

                        So for example if you are adding Sky Sports, go to their site find a logo and save it as ‘skylogo.jpg’ or whatever the format it is. Then make sure that image is added to the pics folder and referenced in your module config. So for your entry for Sky Sports it would be something like this:

                        	{
                        		title: "Sky Sports",
                        		url: "http://www.XXXXXX.com", -> whatever the rss feed is for Sky Sports goes here.
                        		customLogo: "skysports.jpg"
                        	},

                        Hope that helps.
