I’m considering a smart Home project using HomeKit, and I really want to include a magic mirror, so I thought about including homebridge,

Has anyone else done this successfully?

Did you have to put the homebridge on a separate raspberry pi or can they both go on the same pi?

I’m mostly interested in voice control to turn the monitor on and off via Siri. (And adding other devices to homebridge like a vacuum. )

Any other thoughts or ideas gratefully received.

Thank you

Any tips or advice? I’m looking for a way to change what’s on the MM in relation to who is using it, maybe an nfc nearby or something triggering the screen to turn on and show that persons page or the can just use the mirror…

But if youre using homebridge and piHole (everthing network related), i suggest LAN.

Its really annoying when you open Home in the iPhone and have “Aktualisierung” in red for 1-2 seconds. But givi it a try…!
