<![CDATA[MMM-eswordoftheday not showing words]]>MMM-eswordoftheday has been working fine for a few weeks but suddenly it does not show any Spanish words. When MM starts up it says ‘Spanish Word of the Day’ and ‘Loading’ and then it seems to time out and replace ‘Loading’ with the 1. and 2. where the examples were - but no Spanish words, English translations or examples.

The Pi can access https://www.spanishdict.com/wordoftheday from the Chromium browser so it is not a network access issue, I don’t think.

I’ve removed and re-installed MMM-eswordoftheday but that didn’t help.

Does anyone have any suggestions for correcting this, please?

You can clone my fork until I submit the PR to the module creator and he accepts the changes. Not sure if this will fix the issue of things changing in future but fixes the issue for now.

I have tried using your module and it is not working. Just showing the 1. and 2. followed by blanks. I have tried searching for the specific container that your node_helper.js file is pulling from but I cannot. A little help please?

Fix was so easy to implement once he posted that. I simply edited the updated the node_helper.js file as follows:

//const container = $(".entry--1qTEOKKt")[0];
const container = $("._1qTEOKKt")[0];

Then rebooted.

I’ve discovered the Developers Window but am not yet clear on what all it does!

I have found this, though, and it seems to indicate that the return from https://www.spanishdict.com/wordoftheday is blank / null.
