I have my magic mirror programed to start automatically upon booting of the raspberry pi. However something happened last night that I can’t explain or get around.

When I boot the Pi (4) everything works as expected, but once the mirror starts up the monitors connection to hdmi is cut immediately and I have zero signal. I have not found a way to get connection to the monitor to be able to troubleshoot.

This is definitely a Pi issue, as I tried in a different monitor with the same issue .

I am at a loss here. I have no idea how this happened. Please. Any help?

Deleting PIR from the config through the remote worked!

Thank you Sam.

Not sure how that happened out of nowhere. I should delete the PIR module through ssh to see what’s going on then?

Unless I can modify the config file through the remote app. Not sure that’s safe though.

I believe the PIR is working fine. Just not sure why the HDMI connection is immediately lost after the mirror has loaded.

Wouldn’t disconnecting the PIR from the Pi correct this?

I hope that I have enabled SSH on the raspberry. I think I had.
I have yet to try accessing the pi yet from SSH, but fingers crossed.

Yes. I am using PIR as a motion sensor. I have tried detaching the PIR with no luck.
