U have to install the mmpm module into config.js to have the communications work

apparently guided install didn’t do its thing

step 3, install as module

(base) sam@sams:~$ mmpm install --as-module
Are you sure you want to install the MMPM module? [yes/y] or [no/n]: y

Creating MMPM module in MagicMirror modules directory ✓
Run mmpm open --config and append { module: “mmpm” } to the modules array, then restart MagicMirror if running

 {   module:'mmpm' }

and restart mm

I think you will get no answer here, I recommend to open an issue in the Github repo.

There are already several issues with this problem, may you find already a solution there:
