Recently someone was throwing out a working Samsung 27" LCD so I figured this was my chance.

I wanted to make a frameless floating mirror but I was in a rush to get a mirror and couldn’t find one that would cover the entire tv so I just bought this one from Amazon and figured I would make it work.

Since the TV inputs stick straight out of the back I bought this cable to help it lay as flat as possible against the wall.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07F59KDZ3?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

I was able to keep the speakers from the TV and move all the controls so they can still be used. Because of the camera the wife isn’t comfortable with it in the house so it’s in the garage for now but I may take it to work to hang in the office eventually.

The bottom is just held on by some magnets so I can get to the controls and pi easily. I like it to be off until it detects a face and then have it display different messages/information depending on who it detects.

I love the magnets to hold the cover over the hardware.
