<![CDATA[Touch screen over two way mirror]]>I would like to build magic mirror photo booth. Besides LCD monitor and two way mirror I should use touch screen overlay. What would be better a touch screen foil or touch screen overlay usb?

I have my MagicMirror up and running in portrait mode and works well. I have just added a 42" Infrared Touch Frame Overlay but the touch cursor moves the wrong direction (ie. the touch cursor still set to landscape)
How does one calibrate the touch cursor to portrait mode? I slide my finger up the mirror and the cursor moves right ~ lol.
Any help appreciated :)

I just ordered a 60 inch IR frame without glass and waiting for that to come in so that I can order two way glass. Can you tell me where you ordered from? And did the touchscreen work once you put the two way glass inside of the IR frame? Did you need to calibrate? I am making a selfie mirror photobooth so any input would be helpful. Thanks

It may work with some foil as long as you apply it super tightly! Hope this helps please post final result pictures!

Do anyone know if the touch will work through the mirror film or a acrylic mirror?

My question is can you use acrylic instead or does it have to be glass? Another thing, they sell the IR frame without glass, is this a good idea? Thanks people

The glass was really just held in by glue so using a screwdriver I pried the glass out. Then I measured exactly in mm the glass. I ordered two way glass amd it fit snugly inside! Hope that helped I can send some pics of it!

Google IR-frame, or IR touch and similar and you will get lot’s of results and information.

I built my frame over top of the monitor and the glass so the only thing seen was the screen. It went over top the glass.
