?Volume control?
-
I’m in the middle of building my first MagicMirror2, and yes it’s a fun project.
I’m just wondering if there is a way to control the volume using voice control??
Eg saying volume up or down
I’m running from usb sound card to a little 50w x 2 to two speakers.
Any ideas would be grate full

That is how I do it, I use a HUE Dimmer Switch and FHEM to control it.
elif self.path=='/down': status='Volume down' subprocess.Popen(["amixer", "set", "Master", "8%-"], preexec_fn=os.setsid) elif self.path=='/up': status='Volume up' subprocess.Popen(["amixer", "set", "Master", "8%+"], preexec_fn=os.setsid)

I was wondering if it could be controlled by the raspberry pi itself, when you set up the MagicMirror2, you run through the audio settings for the mic and sound out put…
Is there any way to control volume from here??
