I ran a TeamSpeak MagicMirror Help Desk server for quite some time but I took it down for lack of use. I’d be more than happy to put it back up if you wanted use of it. There is Chat, Voice, Public Rooms, Private Rooms, Uploads and Downloads, Admin Priveleges, etc… TeamSpeak is free and rock solid.

I put it back up if you want to test it or take a look at it. Directions for connection are in the link above
@Sean said in MMM-Tools : System stat monitoring and commanding (ATB Supported):
You can just remove required version in module js file.
I commented out the version check but it still didn’t display on my Pi3B mirror. No errors, terminal or console
@Sean said in MMM-Tools : System stat monitoring and commanding (ATB Supported):
see which error messages are thrown in your terminal console, and chromium dev console.
His problem might be the same as mine. My mirror is running MM 2.1.0 so your check stopped the module from loading.
Any chance you can add a PC option or move the check to MM version 2.1.0? I’m not really working with Pi’s anymore. A Windows PC dev machine, a Windows PC laptop and a laptop running uBuntu.
Nice work Sean!
@spikeboybebop said in Electron failed to install correctly:
MM seems to work except for the weather
Weather won’t work without an API key. See the README for that module for instructions on where to go to acquire said API key. Then, enter the API key in the appropriate place in the config entry for that module.
@psteimann said in CSS-Isue:
Where and can i do this modification in the main.css?
It’s not recommended that you edit the main.css file. However, you can edit the custom.css file at your pleasure, and gain the same results.
With that, in your custom.css file, add the following entry and adjust the value accordingly:
.compliments {
margin-top: 200px;
}
@psteimann said in Mouse hide and show:
But after the mousepointer has gone, how can i reactivate the mouse-coursor without the mouse??
Assuming you are controlling the mirror remotely. When the mirror is running:
Press the Alt
key (or Ctrl) on your keyboard. This drops down a menu bar at the top of your screen.
You won’t see your mouse cursor until you move it all the way to the top of the screen into the menu bar.
There it is! Click on the File menu and click Exit. This brings you back to your desktop.

sorry bout the phrase
LMFAO! That is PERFECT!
Ok, so, in honor of your wife’s #@#'s, you can try this entry in your custom.css file. I assume you want to move the module to the right and up, so you only need margin-right: -40px;
and margin-top: -40px;
. Adjust those numbers accordingly until you get the result you want.
.MMM-MODULENAME {
margin-left: 0px;
margin-right: -40px;
margin-top: -40px;
margin-bottom: 0px;
}
@Sean said in config error somewhere, need help:
all module developers should provide DEFAULT ACTIVE SAMPLE CONFIGURATION.
Personally, I DO provide a config entry with each module and I think most others do, as well. However, I have seen some that were not complete, where copying and pasting would only result in an error.
In the meantime, I refer people to How to add modules, which should give them a better understanding of the process.
