@Fozi someone posted about similar tools on Mac
i use linux desktop and the caja file manager does the same ssh access
here are all my remote systems connected , and also connects to my virtual Mac over the network interface
@mishkalidas open the developers window, ctrl-shift-i, and select the console tab, then scroll up to find any errors…
usually red text…
let us know
@humdinger44 also, if u have a mouse on the system , you should be able to hover over the line and see the raw numbers used
@vpanse did u adjust the mm address and. ipWhitelist to allow outside the mirror access? by default it is set to.only apps INSIDE the same machine can connect
set address :“0.0.0.0”
and to test, ipWhitelist to []
this allows any app on any system on your network to connect
@earnestrichards they are in the module folder. if u erase the module folder they go away. except for the sd card memory bit consumption.
sd card memory is write once. next time for that file. those bits are no good, marked used, and new consumption.
eventually all memory bits used, even tho card file system says not full.
@stro MagicMirror is a web page.
It displays html. The modules generate a small section matching their requirements, and mm injects that onto the page in the configured position.
The module can get it’s data from anywhere. API, file system, database.
You have an API, which returns data, not html. Some code has to convert the data into displayable html
@humdinger44 i see it too… will mess up the charts for a while… boooo
from the data source
**NEW:** Starting with data for May 6th, this data reports the total combined number of confirmed and
probable Covid-19 cases and deaths where available. Many states and localities have started to report this
data using criteria that were developed by states and the federal government.
This will cause a spike in the cases and deaths data for some areas while we work to revise our historical data
with those probable cases and deaths.
@UncleRoger note that I just edited the new validSenders array to move the element properties around… having them named insulates the code from any positioning issues…(and YOU don’t have to add any code to handle that)
@earnestrichards if you just take the entry out of config.js for that module. the files are still there.
