RE: MMM-SynologySurveillance
@m3iaz Hi,
the Reolink cams provide a fluent and a high quality stream.
You can select three different stream types in the Surveillance Station. The MJPEG stream is generated of the one for reduced speed which in my setup is the fluent stream of the Reolink cam.
I can select a 640x stream in my Reolink but it may depend of the camera.I do not have much time to program at the moment but you may checkout my EmbedURL module. It is able to embed images and a refresh rate can be configured. Some people use it to embed JPEG of public webcams already.

RE: The installation instructions are broken.
@sdetweil Maybe the getting started document/page must be updated to reflect usage of your script. The old initial method is outdated and you script is so much easier and would save lots of user pain and grief.

RE: Problem with MMM-ValuesByNotification and MMM-CommandToNotification
@Jimmy1502
You will need to comment the try, too. Additionally the indention of the code needs to be changed.
The file will be look like this then:#!/bin/python3 #Install Dependencies: # pip3 install adafruit-circuitpython-dht # sudo apt-get install libgpiod2 import time import board import adafruit_dht import json import sys gpio_nr = 4 if len(sys.argv) > 1: gpio_nr = int(sys.argv[1]) # Initial the dht device, with data pin connected to: dhtDevice = adafruit_dht.DHT22(getattr(board, "D%d"%gpio_nr)) result = {} result["temperature_c"] = dhtDevice.temperature result["humidity"] = dhtDevice.humidity result["temperature_f"] = (result["temperature_c"]*1.8) + 32 result["error"] = False print(json.dumps(result))

RE: Trying to create a white background with black text to the clock module title block.
Hi Sam,
It has taken me some time but I have now managed to get white boxes around the module text. The white box was created adding additional lines of code to custom.css file see code below. However I was unable to change the text colour in the white boxes so ended up changing the root section of the main.css file see code below. I know you said do not change the root code but could not find any other way of changing font colour.
The one thing I would still like to do is remove image and date/time at the bottom right hand corner.
Cheers,
JohnCustom CSS Code
/* Custom CSS Sample * * Change color and fonts here. * * Beware that properties cannot be unitless, so for example write '--gap-body: 0px;' instead of just '--gap-body: 0;' */ /* Uncomment and adjust accordingly if you want to import another font from the google-fonts-api: */ /* @import url('https://fonts.googleapis.com/css2?family=Poppins:wght@100;300;400;700&display=swap'); */ .clock { background-color:rgba(255,255,255,0.5); border-radius:8px; padding:8px; } .clock .time{ color: black; } .MMM-OpenmapWeather { background-color:rgba(255,255,255,0.5); border-radius:8px; padding:8px; } .calendar { background-color:rgba(255,255,255,0.5); border-radius:8px; padding:8px; } .newsfeed { background-color:rgba(255,255,255,0.5); border-radius:8px; padding:8px; } .newsfeed .module-content{ color: black; }

RE: MMM-BirdNET issue with MMM-pages
@geronimodupree You may want to comment out both the suspend and resume modules. I have and it works just fine.
And working fine on each page:
