      @CaptainKen after you did the updates, did you reboot? or close and open the terminal window??

      if you updated the OS, then its best to reboot before doing anything else

      and they should have been in the opposite order…

      update the changes list
      then install the updates

        I did reboot after the updates.

        I just ran these commands:
        curl -fsSL https://deb.nodesource.com/setup_20.x | sudo -E bash -
        sudo apt install -y nodejs

        node -1 (v20.19.6)
        npm -v (10.8.2)

        sudo apt full-upgrade

        Now this command “node --run install-mm” gives the error “node: bad option: --run”

          @CaptainKen yes, you need node 22 for that

          MagicMirror requires 22.18.0 for v2.33
          Next release is 22.21.1

          Node 24 removes 32 bit support. So we are trying to hold on to 32bit support as long as we can.

            @sdetweil Thank you for replying with some details. So you’re saying I should not have installed RPi 64-bit.

              @CaptainKen no. You need to install node 22.18.0

              You installed node 20
