I’d like to integrate the Cognitive Services API from the Microsoft Azure Cloud.
The API also detects emotions which can also be displayed. Something like “Hello John, you look happy today” would be a very cool output.
Does anyone know if such a module already exists or if not where I should start to develop?
Im very new but interested in this topic.
      Thanks for your help.

I believe there is already a face detection module under the modules section of the forum, but I don’t know what api it is using.

@Antagonist As far as I know, there is no Azure related module.

@Sean Thank you. I assume this would’t make a lot of sense since opencv is free and azure has a limited number of recognitions. Nevertheless an emotion detector would be cool. Because of your fancy Module Developer Icon I think you have a lot more experience with this stuff so do you know if something like this currently exists?

Definitely there be 1 or 2 facial detection module as 3rd party’s. they are based on opencv, but personally i havent used it. so cannot remember the name. You can search in this forum with keyword facial or detection.
