Hello everyone! I’m using the EXT-Screen and EXT-ScreenTouch modules by bugsounet, but when the mirror goes to sleep, the blue light from the monitor is still on. Is it possible to turn the monitor completely black after inactivity? If anyone could help it’d be very appreciated!

@Human99 black would be power off. does that turn off the light?

some monitors support CEC which would allow software to turn it off and back on. ext-screen supports CEC.

@sdetweil Thank you for your solution, but unfortunately, my monitor doesn’t support CEC. Are there any alternatives?

@Human99 only one I know of is to use an external switch controlled by relay or some such…

IF the monitor turns back on when there is power on the cord… none of mine do… all require touching a button on the monitor
