      I have a RasPi3 with a 7" LCD (DSI connector not HMDI) connected and it works.
      I have a wireless keyboard/mouse and I can use the terminal just fine.

      I have installed MM as per instructions, but when I try to start it it says:

      noonas@HomeassistantPi:~/MagicMirror $ npm run start

      magicmirror@2.23.0 start
      DISPLAY=“${DISPLAY:=:0}” ./node_modules/.bin/electron js/electron.js

      I have tried to set the $DISPLAY variable to 0:0, same error comes.

      What can I do??

        @noonas you installed on the lite/text mode only version of Raspberry pi OS

        MM needs the full version with desktop… as the browser uses graphics mode always
        see https://docs.magicmirror.builders/getting-started/requirements.html#hardware

        if you had used my install script it would have stopped because of this and told you

            @noonas see the main.css for the margins

            then change by adding entry to custom.css
