          It seems this (the script OP posted) needs to be updated. I just tried this on the Raspberry Pi OS (based on Debian 10 “Buster”).
          It failed. I believe mostly because npm kept reporting warnings about not supporting nodejs version 10, and errors about could not load, or missing requirements not installed.

              @sdetweil I just tried yours, and it failed also. npm also threw out some warnings and errors. The last line from the CLI states “Unable to install dependencies”

              Update on sdetweil script:

              I see why now it failed. It seems my pi ZeroW has issue with the Wi-Fi becoming unresponsive. I have to end up turning it on and off.

              I will try running it again

              Update 2: the WI-Fi became unresponsive again. I guess I need to go with a regular Pi to get this working. I do not like the performance of the Pi Zero anyway

                @KNERD where is the pi0 relative to your router? I did have some trouble like this before I installed a range extender in the office.

                I have since gone to Google WiFi mesh and things are much more stable.

                    @sdetweil

                    I have a Linksys Mesh setup here. The nearest point is about 10 feet away.

                    For trying script, yes it was after flashing. This issue with the Wi-Fi just started recently. The Pi Zero came with a Google AIY 2.0 kit I purchased. I was using that AIY image Google was putting out. I wonder if that is a better image since it was targeted for the Pi Zero and the rest of the kit.

                    Hmm. Wi-Fi just came back up as I was typing this…and back down

                        The Wi-Fi was functioning just fine with the Google AIY image. I looked and thought I was using a 2A power supply because it is a CanaKit one. However, looking, I see it is only a 1A. I found another PS with 2A output. I do have other things connected to it such as USB Hub, mouse, and keyboard.

                        Looking at that link, I do not think this applies to me, as I am not headless. Wi-Fi is having issues again: not resolving DNS.

                        I am going to try the Google AIY image again since it seemed I was having more stability with it.
