      spudz@raspberrypi:~/MagicMirror $ npm run start

      magicmirror@2.23.0 start
      DISPLAY=“${DISPLAY:=:0}” ./node_modules/.bin/electron js/electron.js

      /home/spudz/MagicMirror/node_modules/electron/dist/electron exited with signal SIGBUS
      spudz@raspberrypi:~/MagicMirror $

        @frustrated SO much fun…

        SO… lets try to reinstall electron

        BUT it leans towards an sd card problem…

        cd ~/MagicMirror
        rm -rf node_modules/electron
        npm install electron@22.3.4
        

        then

        npm start 
        

        and see what we get

          Got your note, thanks. Here is what I did / happened.

          spudz@raspberrypi:~ $ cd MagicMirror
          spudz@raspberrypi:~/MagicMirror $ rm -rf node_modules/electron
          spudz@raspberrypi:~/MagicMirror $ npm install electron@22.3.4

          added 1 package, and audited 785 packages in 40s

          139 packages are looking for funding
          run npm fund for details

          13 vulnerabilities (10 moderate, 2 high, 1 critical)

          To address issues that do not require attention, run:
          npm audit fix

          To address all issues (including breaking changes), run:
          npm audit fix --force

          Run npm audit for details.
          spudz@raspberrypi:~/MagicMirror $ npm audit fix --force
          npm WARN using --force Recommended protections disabled.
          npm WARN audit Updating node-ical to 0.18.0, which is a SemVer major change.

          added 1 package, removed 12 packages, changed 42 packages, and audited 774 packages in 2m

          140 packages are looking for funding
          run npm fund for details

          found 0 vulnerabilities

            @frustrated did you try it before reboot? MM is just an app… don’t need to reboot to test it

                yes, for sure… but did it work BEFORE rebooting??

                anyhow…

                you also have a backup of your mm, right?

                if not, see

                  This message with Elektron has something to do with the displaying, doesn't it?
                  why are these error messages suddenly appearing in Proxmox with LXC containers?

                    @kusselin you cannot run electron from root user without additional parameters

                    you should logon as a normal user
