Hey,
I’m hoping you can help. I’m trying to get a working voice assistant for the mirror.
I’ve tried a few with varying success.
Mmm-mirrormirroronthewall - seem to have created the skill and it responds on other devices… However nothing happens on the pi/mirror
Mmm-awesome-alexa - I get so far but I can’t seem to get Alexa voice service to work.
Mmm-AlexaControl - got this working. Love that I can turn the monitor off and on via Alexa devices…
So whilst the last one is cool, I’m hoping to do a bit more… Ideally I’m looking to play music and YouTube on the mirror via a voice assistant… It would be cool if it could answer questions too…
Is this possible?

amazon doesn’t want u do do what u ask, except on commercial hardware devices, with prior approval.

@sdetweil so I’m looking at MMM-GoogleAssistant which I’ve got up and running
Not having the same luck with assistant 2display…
I can’t seem to cast, play YouTube or Spotify using this.
If I say something like Jarvis play cat videos on YouTube. The assistant opens up and says here’s something I found on YouTube…
But nothing plays… have I missed something?

@jste84 yes, there is some setup for each function. it’s on the wiki, but I can’t search the wiki from my phone right now. I am in hospital w covid a few more weeks til I get back I think
