      Any help? Why would I be missing files?

          raspberry pi 4.

          I did an install from the magicmirror remote. The last update worked fine, no problems.

          git pull && npm install in the terminal should take care of that, right?

                @nneuland but fresh install doesn’t seem to have the problem…

                use my script, it never fails…

                rename the existing MagicMirror folder
                then run the install script.

                see https://github.com/sdetweil/MagicMirror_scripts

                then u can copy your modules over and config.js from the renamed folder

                    @sdetweil I think I celebrated too early.

                    Very odd thing happening. I’ve lost all of my modules. Back to default. What in the world did I do now?

                      @nneuland did u copy your stuff over? from the old to the new? including config.js?

                      rename the new modules/default folder out of the way for the copy

                      then from the new modules folder
                      cp -r -p ~/Magicmirror-old/modules .

                      then rm -rf default
                      and rename the saved default folder back
