the module just says loading, I’m going to delete it and use the regular newsfeed instead, thanks.

by the way, is there a way that I can add an icon/image to the default newsfeed module?

@greedyvegan correct … Linux commands in general return nothing on success. they were designed in the old teletype terminal days

@greedyvegan you can try the MMMNewsfeedTicker module again…

at least it should work… I accepted the changes as I was a collaborator on that

I tried it and didn’t like it, so I removed it.

                              Hi there,

Sorry to jump in to this. I have the very same issue where the NFT module only shows “Loading” but never shows any feed. This was working perfectly fine for a long time before I ran an update (git pull) for the module today.

                              A bit more info…

                              • I am still on npm 6.14.11 and unable to upgrade due to the nodejs 10.24.0 compatibility issue.

Could it be because I am still on an old npm version?

                              Many Thanks!

@KiaSohc well, you probably needed to do npm install in the module folder too after git pull

@sdetweil Sorry forgot to mention that. Yes, I did ran npm install after git pull but it just shows “Loading…”.

@KiaSohc loading is the default message while waiting for data

so we need to look at the output of npm start

if you use pm2 to launch MagicMirror then you need to do
                                    pm2 logs --lines=50
