Hi I´m completely new to this theamtic. I have a homeserver were i let run a VM, with Rhasspy (voiceassistant) installed on it. Now my question. Is it possible to run Rhasspy as a satellite on my raspberry, were MagicMirror is also installed and then control the mirror with Rhasspy?

      Thanks for requests.

@kimosaj said in Magic Mirror with Rhasspy:

        Rhasspy

well… in general MM is not voice controllable…

you can hide and show modules. with some other modules you might be able to play spotify music,

a few modules provide voice reco, but not many modules are specifically voice enabled…

I see Rhasspy says full offline voice reco… how good is it? we have others that use the CM Sphinx libs for reco, but they are not very accurate.

@sdetweil Thank you for the answer. But if I understand it right, its possible to run Rhasspy and MagicMirror over Docker and can use both simultaneously. I would say its a good voice assistant. Sure there are some thinks were accuracy is lagging, but for me its not that problem.

@kimosaj it all depends on horsepower and memory.
you can run docker for both, as there is an image for mm.

integrating them is a different topic
