The api we use only updates the standings after the race. So currently this is not possible.That said, the api is deprecated end of season. I have my eyes on another api that currently has live timing, and is about to add standings. That would be a bigger project. Perhaps a christmas project.

@cirdan would this be a candidate for the njk template
you format the html in a sep file with loop logic and if/then/else
in your module you collect a data object ( which you do already) and let the njk do the layout work.
