I also control my Monitor and turn it off or on. I do this via CEC. This a posibility to control divices via hdmi connection.
Maybe you have not turned this on in the monitor settings or your monitor does not support this.

You can add the MMMRemoteControl Module to your config file. In a seperat Script you can send commands to Show or hide modules. You can run the Script in python for example.

Newsfeed shows "Fehler in Newsfeed Module: no internet connection"
Today I updated my magic mirror to Version 2.17.1
Every thing is fine.
But I noticed that my neesfeed and calendar module now showing a error message like “no internet connection” when the screen is turned on by the motion sensor.
It is correct that the internet is turned off, when the screen is off.
How can I disable this error message?
The modules should show the last content and I want to disable the error message.

i have the same issue at my MM, but no idea how to fix this. I set up different time formats for different urls. But how can this effect the allignment of the left side?.
