RE: Hardware Stack up
Mirror-Sheet, Acryl or Glass: Touchscreen will not work!
You will need a special folio as you can use with your smartphone. Even if you will find one in your size, it will be expensive and you have to install it right on your display…so i think it will not look as good as a class- or acryl-solution. And how will you implement the touchscreen-actions? Forget it.-(

RE: IP White List
it works with any dyndns also, if portforwarding-settings and firewall-settings are correct and i think jaca has to be enabled in the Browser, not shure. Check your port in the config.js. Default is 8080, but i had many troubles with this port…

RE: IP White List
I do it with teamviewer, much better than VNC because it transmits the alt-key which you need to minimize the window of MM to do the settings…no dns or portforwarding needed…

@12wsx Change the Port from 8080 to 8099 and then try again…solved a lot of problems for me…

Problem with Modul Email (Ronnie3050)
Hi,
I installed this module and it works so far.
The problem is if i access to MM from external with http, the emails will be duclicated on the mirror itself everytime i access the mirror.
not on the http-screen, but on the mirror…
any idea tho resolve this? i have to reboot the pi everytime when it happens…

RE: Glass or foil??
Hi Mark,
I would not use a foil…the result looks very “cheep”, its hard to mount without airbubbles and you will see scratches on it very soon…
you could use a small peace of mirror which fits in the free area of MM and can be mounted there, but still, it looks not too nice and its hard to remove without damaging your display.
Best alternative in this case would be to realise it with a cameraboard for the Pi and using the module MMM-MotionEye. But It’s not easy to install, I did not get it to run till now…unfortunately
Or you use a cam connected with USB to the Pi (Module Camera) and mount this somehow that its “as non visible as possible” in top of your screen"…but not my favourite solution…

RE: Problem with Module MMM-MotionEye
Hi,
I thought I can debug the module this way…how can I debug?
I put an header into the config.js and see the frame, but no cam in the mirror…and no error in the log when I start mm2…
