    • RE: How can I add more time periods for MMM-compliments?

@saschasp Actually I only had to make changes in the MMM-compliments.js and not the config.js
I just had to make changes at those 3 places that I showed in the imgur link I had posted and it works great.
sdetweil helped my find the missing comma that was causing the problem with the npm start dev prompt and now it works great.

I now have 5 time periods and 3 compliments for each period. If I think of more compliments, I’ll probably add a 4th compliment for each period.

    • RE: Cooling solution for LCD monitor?

@roxx I do have a question, isn’t it a bit noisy with your fans setup? I have a small fan that came with my RPi case and set it on low so it is silent.

I also got 10 heat sinks and put them all on the bottom of my monitor back. What used to be too hot to touch for more than a second, now is very cool at all times. I know I didn’t need to put all 10 there, but got carried away and liking the result lol.

@roxx nice! So Im guessing your’s is a pretty big build then. Looking forward to seeing you post it!
Ya I got several heat sinks that I put on the back of the monitor to ensure the heat gets dissipated.

    • Has anyone used OLED monitors with their MM? Quite annoyed with the 'light bleeding' of my LCD

I’m 99% done with my first MM build and I have to say, the light bleeding on the LCD makes the part of the mirror where the screen is located pretty useless as a mirror.
I actually recycled an old laptop’s LCD screen, so it still came out great, but during the building stage, I first positioned the screen on the top and then realized how bad the light bleeding was, so I flipped it upside down and positioned the screen on the bottom instead.

OLED monitors would cost more, but I’m guessing they would make a beautiful MM with their higher contrast capability.

@sdetweil Hmm ok, besides weather and quote of the day, I’m not really connecting to the net for anything so I guess that’s fine.
Thanks again for helping me solve this!

@sdetweil hey no problem, it seems to be working fine, so I guess I shouldn’t worry about it.

If I may ask one more question, should I do anything about the yellow warning ‘Electron Security Warning’?
