How to remove html tag on newsfeed?

I am making a smart mirror for a personal project.
I set the news feed to appear using RSS, but when I run it, html tags such as and " continue to appear.
Is there a way to apply these tags to the newsfeed itself or to remove the tags? -

For reference, the OS I’m running is Raspbian. -
It doesn’t have that feature. Modify source or use other alternative module which has that feature.
