MagicMirror as a schoolproject

Hi there,

I’m from Austria and I want to make a MagicMirror as a schoolproject. I’m visiting a higher technical College. I already installed the MagicMirror application but I really don’t understand what every part of it does for it’s own. Could somebody who has more knowledge explain this to me ?

I’m curious, isn’t this a bit too costly for a school project? (The two-way mirror alone may be around 150€ here in Europe)

However, I suggest to elaborate further what exactly you don’t understand or to give an example. From your question, I can’t tell whether you look for “How to start” tips or deep developer knowledge…
