Push Notifications and incompatibility with RTSP window.

I have a project where I need to show the video stream and when a push notification arrives the video disappears and the notification is prominent for a certain duration.

I have loaded the github.com/shbatm/MMM-RTSPStream and using omxplayer it seems to sit ontop of MM and does not interact.

Can you suggest a way that would allow this simple replacement of the video with the push notification and after the duration to return the video back top centre position? .
