Has Google Maps changed?

Both the GoogleMapsTraffic and MyCommute modules, based on Maps, are not working on the two mirrors of mine.
the first “not loading”, the second showing “ERROR” in lieu of the times.
I have other applications for the API (I use a location tracking for my homeassistant) that are OK.
So I am asking if this is only for me, only for Italy, or it is worldwide :/

Yeah, I am getting the ERROR message as well.

Looks like the author has locked it, as you can’t download it without a user name password

I guess there hasn’t been any word on a solution yet?
