MAGIC MIRROR DARK PHOTOS

hi can anyone help please? im not very tech minded and this mirror is driving me insane.
wedding last week worked absolutely fine and photos great.
wedding this week half way through the night they turned the lights off in the venue and although i was under a light the photos were really dark on screen and even darker when they printed out. what can i do? -
@bobfunland edit the photos and lighten them if u can
