ERROR npm does not support Node.js

Hello everyone !
During the installation I have a problem with the node.js? impossible to do full installation of MMwith this command i have an error
sudo npm install -g npm@latest
Same with the bash
bash -c “$(curl -sL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/MichMich/MagicMirror/master/installers/raspberry.sh)”
OS: 2019-09-26-raspbian-buster
sudo apt-get update OK
sudo apt-get install npm OKI am a beginner, I hope you can help me :)

have to rename the current MM folder out of the way
