Touch screen to hide modules?

I have a basic, working magic mirror.
I’m looking at upgrading my screen to a touch screen, which would basically give a mouse click when touched.What’s be best way to have the mouse click trigger modules to appear or disappear?
My end goal is to have a regular mirror, then on a click switch back & forth to a slideshow mode. I see a few Slideshow modules out there, so that’s easy.
