Default Calendar off by 1 Hour When in 'Relative' Mode

Hey Guys -

Just set up my first MagicMirror to give me updates throughout the day on a RasPi + official display. I’m having an issue with the default calendar module which I’m hoping someone can advise on.

I have the calendar module configured to display an ICS file it updates online every 10 minutes which is tied to my O365 account. It does this well and shows future events at the appropriate time / timezone - until they approach. When the time switches over to being ‘relative’ (I think), it’s of by an hour.

Example
I had a team meeting that was scheduled for 12:35pm CST today. The meeting showed “12:30pm” until later in the morning. At 10:30am, it showed that it started in 1 hour. It’s now 12:14pm CST and it says that it ‘Ends in 11 minutes’ even though that’s when it starts. (See screenshot where as you can see, the clock module shows the correct time/timezone as well)

@bzowk what timezone are u in and what timezone are the calendar events in?

when was the event added to the calendar (before DST switch, which complicates things)

spent a lot of time working on this stuff for 2.15

@sdetweil Thanks for the reply… Man, I can’t stand DST! Anyways, I’m in Central Time Zone (America/Chicago). As for the meeting, it was added to my calendar within the past week, however; may have initially been created long ago as it well predates my time. All calendar events are in my (Central) timezone as it’s an O365 ICS file. To note, viewing the ICS in a browser does show things correctly.

can u share your ics file? or that event.
download file, it’s just text.
edit out any names.

I don’t share

and send via email, same user ID at gmail. I am on central time too.
