Background is white?
-
@sdetweil Is that intended to be run from a fresh Raspbian install?
-
@martaaay said in Background is white?:
is there an easy way to boot to just the raspberry pi desktop?
just alt-spacebar, n
to minimize MM after startup
then u can open a terminal window (ctrl-alt-t)
and pm2 stop all -
@martaaay yes, altho u can rename the MM folder to something else and install again
-
@sdetweil Ah ok, so would you prefer I install fresh Raspian instead of this: http://unofficialpi.org/Distros/MagicMirrorOS/ ?
(hehe, any chance somebody can bump my account reputation so i can post faster than 120s :) )
-
@martaaay i don’t do MMOS, so I don’t know…
-
@sdetweil I’ll go ahead with a fresh latest stable Raspian and use your script. Will take me a bit. Thanks for the help so far!
-
I verified that the raspberry pi desktop boots up and looks fine
-
@sdetweil Thanks for that script! I started from fresh Raspian, ran you script, and now this looks like it’s working far better.
