    Hello all,
    I’m new around the PI and linux overall so please be patient with my noobness. I’ve done some simple projects with the PI and am currently working on a MM.

    From e clean raspberry I’ve followed the manual installation. All was installed but when starting MM I get a bunch of errors and the process is aborted.
    I’ve done the install twice with the same result.

    Can anyone point me to the right direction?

    pi@PI-SERVER02:~/MagicMirror $ npm run start

    magicmirror@2.17.1 start /home/pi/MagicMirror
    DISPLAY=“${DISPLAY:=:0}” ./node_modules/.bin/electron js/electron.js

      @ivow sounds like u have the text/console mode pi os, not the desktop version

      because the browser (electron) displays graphics, we need the desktop version

      Sam

      How to add modules

      learning how to use browser developers window for css changes

        Yes I did install the lite OS . Wanted to run Raspberry Pi OS Lite to avoid all the overhead that comes with a Desktop version. I’ll install the desktop version and give it a try.

        Thanks for your quick reply!
