@dazza120 must be in the MagicMirror folder for npm start
-
@sdetweil hi im getting the dev window then into console bet there is nothing at all in there just > So what do i have to run in the dev window is it cd MagicMirrior then pm2 start MagicMirrior? im lost just work dam you mirror lol
-
@dazza120 pm2 runs the DEFINITION named x. It doesn’t care about folder.
The setup typically uses the pm2_MagicMirror.json file in installers, or the mm.sh there as well.
mm.sh has a bug, it uses ~ to mark ‘current user’, but when start on boot, the user is root, not pi. So the startup fails. My new installer fixes that.
So, edit mm.sh and change the path to
/home/pi/MagicMirror -
@sdetweil its in that path already but it is completely empty. should it contain text?
-
@dazza120 sorry, what is “it’s”?
-
-
-
@sdetweil i unhide my files and one is in the location i said with no text and the other is in installer as you said with text
-
@dazza120 remove the one in MagicMirror… useless
Fix the one in installers
