        i did this, commented out the old in the MMM-NewsFeedTicker.css
        and replaced with this

        /*@-webkit-keyframes marquee {
          0% { left: 100%; }
          100% { left: -100%; }
        }

        @-moz-keyframes marquee {
          0% { left: 100%; }
          100% { left: -100%; }
        }

        @-ms-keyframes marquee {
          0% { left: 100%; }
          100% { left: -100%; }
        }

        @-o-keyframes marquee {
          0% { left: 100%; }
          100% { left: -100%; }
        }

        @keyframes marquee {
          0% { left: 100%; }
          100% { left: -100%; }
        } */

        /* new stuff here */
        @keyframes marquee {

           0% {
            transform: translate(-100%, 0);
          }

          50% {
            transform: translate(-50%, 0);
          }

          100% {
            transform: translate(0, 0);
          }
        }

                        		{
                        			module: "MMM-NewsFeedTicker",
                        			position: "bottom_bar",
                        			config: {
                        				feeds: [
                        					{
                        						title: "New York Times",
                        						url: "https://rss.nytimes.com/services/xml/rss/nyt/HomePage.xml"
                        					}
                        				],
                        				showSourceTitle: true,
                        				showPublishDate: true,
                        				broadcastNewsFeeds: true,
                        				broadcastNewsUpdates: true
                        			}
                        		},
