MMM-CalendarExt2 start week on Monday
-
Sometimes it’s as simple as changing your language in the config.js file - As sean’s no longer supporting this module, and I believe that nobody took it over, Try that, otherwise, sorry.

@diccon Not a regular forum poster, so hope I’m not offending anyone by “bumping”(?) this topic, but I had the same problem as diccon and fixed it by setting the “locale” attribute of my view to (in my case) “nl-NL” which made the week start on a Monday. And just to “go the extra mile”: “locale: en-GB” has the same effect :-)

@jops
You are right. it depends on which locale the calendar lies under.
US, Canada, Japan and some culture, the Calendar week starts on Sunday, but in other countries with ISO standards, the week starts on Monday.
So, on localeen-US
, the week starts on Sunday; on localeen-GB
, the week starts on Monday.… It was my original intention, but some people have wanted
fr-FR
to start on Sunday,en-US
to start on Monday…
So I made a new moduleCX3
. In that module, you can start on any day of your week by config. -
@MMRIZE Thanks for your reply! I think I saw the new CX3 module and I’m quite excited about it. I’m also immensely impressed by the effort that you and others put in creating these awesome modules!!
I’m holding off on the CX3 module a bit, because I really REALLY want/need the “TimeLine” module that I have connected with the CX2 module… I saw a post somewhere that a TimeLine module for CX3 might arrive at some point in the future… Or can I already install CX3 and use the “CX2-TimeLine” in conjunction with CX3? :grimacing_face:

@jops
In some days, but can not declare exactly when. Thanks for waiting.PS. Ask one thing. Which do you prefer
dynamic
mode orstatic
mode? -
@MMRIZE No rush :-) I’ll be patient! CX2 + TimeLine is already sufficient and working for me. Still fiddling with transformation of calendar events, like stripping names from titles because they are redundant in my TimeLine setup: one row for each family member and colors per family member etc
I personally like the static mode of the TimeLine better because I always want to see the entire day (until like 10pm or so). So in dynamic mode, I would still have to show “15 hours” or so, because at 7am I still want to see if there’s an appointment until 10pm…
