Webcam as mic?

I’ve been trying to implement the Google Assistant module. For my mic, I would like to use the mic of my webcam, but it doesn’t seem to show up when I use
arecorder -lAny help would be appreciated

arecord -l (lower case L, as in list)do this
arecord test.wavspeak some words
press ctrl-c to stop arecord,
thenaplay test.wavdo you hear what you said?
if so, then mic & speaker are working, if not, adjust and repeat…

I’ve just found out that the webcam doesn’t have a mic 😅.
