@mrangryoven , do you have a kitchen-shop around? Some cabinets-doors have a window which will fit to your needs. An old one they may have took in payment, an additional frame behind it (can look bad:-) ) and a tin of colour is all to built a nice mirror.

Another possibility is going to a framing store - one that will professionally frame portraits, photos, etc. Take your mirror glass with you and explain that you want a shadow box with the interior dimensions the same as the dimensions of the glass and a frame to match. The depth of the shadow box will be the depth of your monitor, plus 10mm or so for airflow.

They’ll do the custom work for you.

@mrangryoven About what kind of size we are talking? On Ikea you get one with 50x70cm for 20€ here in Germany.

@hummeruli note that u have to have the pi and monitor behind the glass, so behind the glass needs2-3 inches maybe more

@sdetweil If you remove the case from the monitor, so you have only the panel. The best is one with external power-supply. And I read about the Pi Zero W so you don’t have any problem. But the other option is to use the Ikea frame and go to the next toolshop for a wood profil and glue. Normaly they also cut it in the size you need.

@sdetweil Sure. In every DIY case you must think before you try to build. It’s not like you go in a shop and buy a DIY kit with a 100% fitting manual. And also all tools are in the set.
