Magic(Dashboard)Mirror
-
Heyhey! I also like to present my Magic(Dashboard)Mirror.
Here are some details:
Hardware:
- I used an 27" LG Screen because of the clean optic.
 - To mount the screen as close as possible to the wall I ordered a Vogel’s WALL 3105
 - Raspberry Pi 4 8GB w/ a 64 GB SD Card

Modules:
- Default Clock
 - MMM-Wallpaper
 - MMM-DarkSkyForecast
 - MMM-MyCalendar
 - MMM-PublicTransportBerlin
 - MMM-Todoist (Connected with IFTTT Alexa Shopping List
 - MMM-Fuel
 - MMM-Remote-Control
 - MMM-GoogleSheets (Stundenplan)
 - MMM-NowPlayingOnSpotify

Styling Custom CSS:
- I used the custom layout from @earlman
 - Next to that I spent a lot of time adjusting my custom CSS

Picture:

@mz-ber Looks great - Schaut sehr gut aus :-)

@mz-ber Fantastic! I love the clean and reduced design!
 -
@mz-ber so you found a monitor without branding on the case? I don’t see that in the US at all…

Right! That was just luck that I found it and it was really cheap because it was Amazon Warehouse Deal 🤓
I found it on this page https://www.nerdsheaven.de/amazon-warehouse-deals-tool/

@mz-ber very cool…
I just upgraded my hall monitor to 43in 4k… thin border, but still has logo on it.
 -
What modules did you use?
 -
@mz-ber this looks somehow photoshopped 😕 I am not sure, but it looks like a regular screen…without any mirror…I am sorry, but this is neither a mirror nor magic. Just a screen…
 -
@vandyck Right, that is not a Mirror. The title of the post is misleading. I used the MMM as a framework to display on a monitor all the details we need in my family. So let’s call it Family Dashboard 👍😅
