      @joanaz Yeah i suppose i should actually have asked if Alexa pi would run well on a zero? Im assuming it would…its not really doing any processing, just sending stuff to amazon.

          @zman3 it’s a MagicMirror Module, so same way to install it like any other modules. But you also need to set up Alexa, AWS IoT service, and my Alexa skill that complements it.

            I’m very excited to test this over the weekend. I presently have AlexaPi and MM running concurrently. I’ve struggled to get MMM-AlexaPi to communicate with AlexaPi, but wow this looks a lot more expansive. I’m new to AWS IoT, but your instructions are easy to follow. Great work!

            What ship would bear me ever back across so wide a Sea?

                    @joanaz cool so I know nothing about this stuff when I’m getting the aws-iot-device-sdk do I want the java version or javascript?

                      @zman3 you just need to do “npm install”, then the package.json will install the sdk (assuming you have npm installed on ur computer). It’s the JavaScript version.
