I have GoogleAssistant v3 by bugsounet
and I was wondering if anybody tried to add an event to their calendar using it, and if so, were they successful and how did they get it to work.
I have posted this on his website, but I think he’s very busy. It’s gone on answered, so I’m hoping somebody here might have tried it -
@ray really has nothing to do with much
hey Google (or whatever your hotword is)
add a calendar entry for xxx at yyy
if u just do add a calendar entry, you should be prompted for the name, date and time
-
Yes, I’m aware of that part. Every time I say Jarvis which is my hot word add event to my calendar. It comes back and says it needs permission to access my phone but I can’t find anywhere on my phone or in the Google settings
-
@ray which calendar service are you using? gmail, apple… ?
-
@sdetweil if I understand your question. All of mine are Google ,Google calendar, Gmail, so and so forth
I went to Google cloud platform and added the Google calendar APII have Google YouTube API and it works perfectly just the calendar does not
-
@ray hm… I see that on my GA implementation too… didn’t used to be there… (last summer)
says to use google home to add a device (can’t) and enable permissions (can’t) …
-
@sdetweil yeah I don’t know what’s going on. I’ve tried all different kinds of things
-
@ray they have added a new security layer… don’t know how to get around it (yet)
-
@sdetweil yeah I’ve been working on that for a few days now without any luck whatsoever
-
@ray it’s pined since april
Actually, I have a solution but it’s so complex… I search another solution (more simple)
So i don’t publish it actually
Google Assistant SDK offer not many help about thisAnd Naturally, I don’t work in google Compagny, so it’s complex for (a magican like) me to follow all changes (and it’s not documented :/ )
