I recently installed the MMM-NFL module and it keeps showing me preseason stats from 2020. Any help or advice? I’m new to modules but have been dissecting the js code here and there and/or the config file as well. Thoughts?

@sdetweil kinda figured that. So where is the code for what is showing (as it is accurate for preseason 2020) and how do I change it? Thanks for a problem eval but I’m looking for solutions…

@shybull sorry, don’t know the module code at all

a quick look shows the urls used at the top of the node_helper.js

both urls work and return data from last season.

I don’t have any info on where to get urls for this season

@shybull Sorry but it would appear as of 2021 the NFL has cut that api off.

Data is currency and it’s getting harder to get for free…
It would seem that an industry making 5 billion dollars a year would give out that little bit of data… yeah… they say no.

Weather is the same way… free data getting hard to come by.

I did find another source and emailed Strawberry… not sure what will happen but if he has time I’m sure he’ll look at it. It will take considerable amount of work to get it working with new data.

BUT here’s two sources if anyone wants to take a stab at it…
