Camera module

I am unable to afford a two way mirror and the mirror film i have isnt the best at reflecting. So I am trying to use the camera module by alexyak to display a usb camera onto the screen to act as my mirror. But this requires the voice control module that doesnt work anymore. I was wondering if theres a way to bypass the voice control part, if theres a better module for my needs, or if theres another voice control module that is compatible. Anything helps. Thank you!
