pm2 and MagicMirror stopped
-
@N6NG no, you pasted that you did npm stop all, which is not valid
pm2
is not the same as
npm -
/MagicMirror $ npm start
magicmirror@2.20.0 start
DISPLAY=“${DISPLAY:=:0}” ./node_modules/.bin/electron js/electron.js/tmp/start-adaafac7.sh: 1: /tmp/start-adaafac7.sh: ./node_modules/.bin/electron: not found
pi@raspberrypi:~/MagicMirror $ -
@N6NG fun
do
cd ~/MagicMirror grep \"electron\": package.json
it will display line like
"electron": "^19.0.6"
then do
npm install electron@19.0.6
whatever the number is
then test with npm start again
-
@sdetweil When I did the grep “electron”:package.json it just sat and looked back at me for 5 minutes. So I canceled it and just did the npm install electron@19.0.0 and it installed just fine. Then I did npm start and it started the MagigMirror properly. So I’m guessing Iost the electron somehow. but I stopped MagicMirror and started it again with pm2 start MagicMirror and it worked fine…
Thank you Sam… I thought I had you there for a moment… I should have known better…
Dennis :)
I see the \ mark got dropped from my message after the word electron but it was there when I typed it . -
@N6NG you had to do the grep exactly Iike it I typed it, else it will return nothing…
