Won’t boot up again

Help again please!! Second time my mirror is doing this.
I had a power outage and the mirror now just stops at the desktop image. I tried a sudo reboot with no luck. This happened before and I ended up getting a new Sd card and reloaded. Started over and it all worked again. Now it happened again. Any ideas what I can check? My mirror worked forever and now it’s really getting on my nerves. -
@bitterfitter I don’t know. had this problem myself. I have since added battery backup to my systems and haven’t had this problem since
quick test, make another SD card for os only and see if it boots.

@sdetweil Thanks for the tip. I will do my best to figure out how to do that and try it. Also, care to share how to add a battery backup?

@bitterfitter I bought a little ups. some are quite small w outlets on the top side.
