      @1a2a3a I’m pretty sure that marquee is the culprit. it’s really a high CPU process. and it’s new

        @sdetweil i turned off marquee but my google photo transition is still laggy.
        does your pi4 transit well with google photo?

            Just to confirm, you are running pi4 with mmm google photo and mmm calext3 and smooth transition ya?

              @1a2a3a I don’t use EXT3, but have used Google photos without lag on my pi4s
