Unable to boot from sd card
-
Hi all
In the recent update to os, I wasn’t able to perform an update and hit a segmentation fault issue. The os is on my sd card. I perform a restart and it could never boot ever again, got stuck on splash screen.
I reflash the os and no dice. In an attempt to troubleshoot what went wrong, I did the following:
-Tried 2 new sd card and same thing got stuck at splash screen.
-all 3 sd were able to boot via the pi usb using a sd usb adapter.
-also tried installing os into external hdd via usb and could boot without any issues. This sounds like the sd slot on the pi is broken eh?
I then did the following:
-load eeprom into sd card and plug into pi sd slot and the flash was successful. (See green screen and able to change boot order.)- Linux gui also show sd card detected.
So… what could be wrong here?
